Hey guys, just wondering - what is the standard wheel size for an EB Falcon GLi. At the moment I have 14" ones on there but they're not stock. They were replaced before I got the car and I'm not sure if the standard ones are meant to be 15" or 14". I have a set of Tubo Blades that I want to put on and because they are 15" I will obviously need new tyres.
If the standard EB GLi wheel size is 14", what size tyres will I need so that I don't need to adjust my speedo for the 15's?

I had 225/55R15s on my EA.. those tyres were much better than any 205s or the original 185s that came with it lol

My opinion..
15"x6" rims (steelies), use 205/65/15
15'x6.5" rims (turbo blades), use 215/60/15
15'x7' rims (EF series XR or EB SXR wheels), use 225/60/15

Wanna know more about wheels and tyres..??
This is an excellent page......

cheers man, that was so helpful - using the calculator on there I can see why I would use 60's instead of 65's with the new 15" turbo's. It barely changes the speedo at all - like 1km, that's perfect - thanks again :D!

Well I guess that's what I'm looking for now, if anyone has for sale some 215/60/R15 (x4) tyres, PM me! Otherwise I guess I'll check out a few tyre places.

The 215/60/15s are the right tyre for the
turbo blades. 225's are too baggy.....

Mate, I'd suggest getting new tyres. Spend the
money, its well worth it. Also, if you dont know
the history of the front end, invest another $45
on a wheel alignment and save scrubbing off
6-9 months of tread and $$.

Fair enough......a man's gotta eat.......

Good luck with the tyres. The turbo blades
are certainly nicer than the steelies.
Hope it works out soon for you.
