Howdy folks...
well Ive got myself a 2006 BF MKII XLS V8 Falcon 1 Tonne ute... (breath)
I want to keep the ute as a work vehicle thus requiring me to keep the wheels and tyres as they are etc,, apparently by law Im not allowed to change them anyway because its classed as a light commercial vehicle..
Ive been looking around for some rims but todays styles are (to me) rather gay.. Im a little more old school in what Im after.. my only real options have been 4x4 rims which are at the bottom of the heap when it comes to looking anywhere near what Im after..
which brings me to my question...

is there anyone out there who makes custom rims to a customers requirements?
Id love to get a set of Jelly beans or malibu's or even a set of Mickey thompson classic IIs to suit my BF and still be rated to vehicle spec.
I dont like my chances. but its worth asking..

If you like Classic 2's check the offset for a Jeep.
I know they are the same stud patten as a Falcon.
They would cover your load rating and all then.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!

unfortunately they dont come in the same offset as the BF.. although I do have a set of classic IIs on my TJ that will bolt up to an XF.. which sucks for me...

ford 1 tonne/light commercial. need to have a load rating of 101/103. check the tyre plaxard in your door/glove box and the rear axle weight speedy do a nice wheel and kumho do a load rated passenger tyre.

IMHO the ute would look great with a lift kit in it, just dont get gready and lift it too high.
that being said if you had the style side ute with the original tray I'd probably say slam it to the ground... funny how one change makes the world of difference

if you do lift it just remember it wont corner as well as std hight

yeh the roo bar came with it.but its only alloy.. its given the front end a 10mm drop in the front.. but thats also likely to be due to the suspension needing some love... living out here Ill just leave it on for a while.. but Im thinking Id like an XR front end...
as for height.. well it wouldnt be such a bad idea.. maybe the same height as an SR5 hulix.. those things have bugger all clearance these days... but I already have a modded 4x4 so its probably just going to remain a fun idea....
