Damm I had a d***head on the phone infront of me & decided to do a U-TURN over double YELLOW lines & I T-Bonned him.
He was AT FAULT but he didnt GET PINNED for BEEN ON THE PHONE.

i dont have a problem with 4wd's on the road. i think the bigger problem is the mentality of SOME of the drivers.
but that can be said for any car. it has a lot to do with the driver more than the car.

yeah got some quotes now he is looking at about 400 to 500 bucks to get it fixed - that includes boot and paint - even if i can get a bootlid that is cardinal red im still going to get it matched - cause im a bit fussy - and it needs to be the way it is before he ran into me - i hate things being done the s**t way - i might even get the panel beater to touch up a few dints while im there!!

Why the hell didnt you go through his insurance? I got rear ended a few months ago and took it to my insurance company, they got it fixed and then they do all the dealing with the other party.

For f**k sake, the prick was driving whilst on the phone. Report the accident to the cops, and laugh when the d**k cops a huge fine and loss of points. Its clearly his fault, so why bother looking for parts to fit. Go through his insurance.

The problem with charging him for using his phone is you don't have any evidence.
You should report the incident to the Police and give him ,say, a week to pay up and if he hasn't done so, just put it in the hands of your insurer. He ran up your bum, so he's gone, irrespective of whether he was using his phone or not. I had an experience just recently where the owner of the other vehicle was very apologetic, but when I sent her the quote, she just ignored me. So, insurance dealt with it.
