Hi All,

Whilst in the city today a cab driver decided to side-swipe me and damaged all my front guard.

Is there an easy way to remove and replace???

I have a spare on my other car, but would like some help before I go pulling things apart that I know nothing about.

Thanks Again,

John.

Does nobody know how to remove a front guard?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

John.

it just unbolts and comes off. There will be around 5 bolts inside the engine bay, one down the bottom where you will have to open the door to get to, and a couple of others hear and there. You might have to pull off the plastic splash guard under the wheel arch to get to a couple of them. Also you'll have to unplug the side repeater. Just get stuck into it, you will find it's very strait forward.

I'd say you might have to remove the front bumber bar, but maybe start with the screws in the wheel arch to see if the whole thing has to come off.
As for the front fender there are bolts along the engine bay, in the wheel arch and one inside the door.

As damo said, it really is pretty easy once you get into it. The first time I did one, only took like 5 minutes or so to have it off.
