just picked up a bootlid from the wreckers. im rrunning an aftermarket alarm off smartlock. is it just a straight swap ie moving all the wiring to the new boot, or is there soemthing more? any help appreciated

i would say it would just be a matter of disarmign alarm and swapping loom over..

my concern is that the alarm may know when a sensor ie boot open is removed from the alarms loom and may go berko
even though the alarm it self is off
i doubt it though...
