Hi guys,

Just wanting peoples thoughts. I have just got new rims from my BF, and they are the factory 18" upgrades. I have photoshopped them on my car because they have not arrived from Perth yet.

I was considering painting them to look like the factory rims offered on the BF MKII runouts, which had the charcoal infill.

Anyway check out the attached pics and tell me your thoughts!

Cheers
Brett.

I think they look pox with the infill, either spray the whole rim or leave it.

It obviously does matter because he posted it on a forum. forum = public opinion.

If i were to go ahead and paint the rims does anyone know the factory paint code for the chorcoal colour? I'm not sure if its Dark Argent like on the F6 Typhoon? Not sure of its code anyway!

when i first saw the runout models i laughed. theyve just botched up bits of plastic into the kit and put on some ugly charcoal wheels.

the earlier bf look ftw :)

I agree that the runout BF MKII with the grey inserts in the bodykit was not all that great looking. In my opinion it only worked on Silhouette, Ego and Dash (Green.) Even then i still wouldn't choose it over the normal kit.

I am just looking at replicating the wheels from the MKII. Was considering the black on black look for a while, but i do like the contrast of the charcoal.

I am almost wanting to start following a more European look/style, which seems to be the direction the current FG's are going.

Black ones look good, especially with those huge rear brakes! :P

Anyone know what it might cost to have them painted or powdercoated to look like the MKII rims? I am in Adelaide, so obiosuly looking for a local business to do them if i go ahead. I also need somone who would be able to colour match to find the authentic charcoal colour.
