How do I get the sidemirrors off on my EF?
I've removed the sail pannel, undone that screw, the tops loose.
Then removed the round cap in the door trim, undid that screw, but the bottoms not budging, have I missed something or is this a case of pull harder and hope you don't break it?

There are 3 screws holding it in. one at each point of the triangle for lack of a better term. i.e. one at the front and 2 at the back top and bottom.
hope this makes sense and helps

ok, got the three screws, can't believe i missed the third one as it wasn't even covered, just there next to the door trim!
now is there anything I disconnect for the motor/wiring to the motor before pulling it off?

i think if you pull it gently you will see the wire / plug to disconnect

I cant remember which way it goes, but i think you pull the back in towards the car, and then slide it back? Thats the way it goes on the EB i think. Other than that, pull off the surround, and you'll have room to get to the two plugs
