Hey Guys, I know there has been talk of snorkel upgrades on here before about changing a standard EF snorkel to a AU III XR8 snorkel. Would adding a EL GT snorkel reap the same benefits as adding the AU III snorkel. Cheers

Dont quote me on this, but I think the EL GT snorkel mouth is a tiny little bit smaller then the AU XR8.

Was wondering if anyone considered fitting the XR6T snorkel? :)

I think the GT and the XR snorkel are the same size, every one gets the XR snorkel because it has the tickford wings on it.

the 1 i got is bigger than ss and $150 cheaper so whats so bad about that? i was just saying if you look around for a while you might find a aftermarket 1 for not much more than the stock item

use an EL GT one - bolts straight on... the AU XR ones you need to put new holes in. It's all in the tech doco's!
