Ok, sick of the butt ugly look of the AU forte, so gonna do some really cheap, non performance mods - thinking as a minimum will stick BA XR mags on it, tint the windows, do something about the cheesegrater grille - do you reckon colour coding they look any good (or should I say better) - its a sparkling burgundy wagon - or what about painting the grille black?

Any pics anyone got of the cheesegrater colour coded or black would be good.....

Anyone got a ute grill already painted in sparkling burgundy by any chance for next to nothing...?

The misses would kill me if I spend a couple of hundred bucks to buy and paint a grill that does nothing other than make it look a little better.....

Just a thought - what do you think the standard grille would look like painted a gloss 'gold' colour - on most coloured cars I would not even suggest it, but this is a sparkling burgandy so I was thinking it might look a bit classier (or completely crap). You obviously wouldn't on a red, blue, white car etc. What do you reckon?

If so, anyone know a decent brand of aerosol that makes a gold colour - the last time I used an aerosol its spray pattern was crap and sprayed big dip bits on what I was spraying....

Why don't you just colour code the cheese cutter? they look much better colour coded.
