I have an EL Faimont and was wondering if the rear indicators has an orange globe or if there is a bit of orange plastic in there somewhere. The reason i ask is my left indicator is more clear than orange when in operation and is hard to see during the day. The right works fine, if I put my hazards on and there is a noticeable difference between the two.

You have an orange globe. When it becomes clear the orange coating on the globe flakes off.

Time to change to a new one me thinks.

EL Fairmont tail lights had orange globes with clear lenses. Over time the orange on the globe tends to flake off so you may want to replace both globes (Just to keep the cops off your back (Sounds silly I know but these days the cops will pick on anything just to fulfill their monthly quota).
