Everyones come across those plastic screw clips things, in particular the ones on the plastic cover between the top of the headlights and the bonnet

Is there a trick to get these off safely? i seem to break half them agrh!

I use my finger nails and a screwdriver.

But then again... most people chew their nails nowadays.

I replaced most of mine with the newer style with no plastic screw.

Oh wait a minute.. those ones.. I use large long nose pliers and get under them.
or grasp the product its holding from either side and yank the f**k.

ha ha,they are beaut arnt they,they are ment to push in and lock,they do that. i screw them in with very light force and can screw them out,8 out of 10 times,but they sometimes grab.i keep a few spare all the time,how do you break them?

Hold the tip of your finger on the outside, then using a Phillips screwdriver, lightly apply pressure and then undo it till comes up a bit, then get your side cutters and grab ( not cut ), the screw bit and pull it out.
