twin 2" into a 2.5" pipe to join the exhaust

also. im looking for some opinions. that tip has to be cut down as its to long..

should i cut the tips in the following ways.

1. both tips same length and flat
2. the tip on the right slightly shorter to follow contour of bumper
3. the tip on the right shorter, but both tips cut on and angle

meh, ill photoshop it up make it clear!

Umm that top pic of the exhaust tip doesnt look like its gonna work too well.
The upper pipe that "taps off" the straighter bit isnt going to get a lot of exhaust through it. If its just for looks then its all OK but if you want it to exit both pipes equally then the split in it needs to central.

Sorry for being picky Gaz.

i know that timmeh ;)

engine is basically stock, so the tip isnt gonna be a restriction or anything.. it will get some flow though it. if you look down the 2.5" pipe you can see out both pipes.. just 1 is more promiment..

as for both being functional.. isnt all twin tips on a single 2.5" exhaust just for looks? ;)

i know i coulda bought a better one, but meh, save myself 100 bucks, this was free ;) and hell, always gives ya a good feelin doin something yaself

I was cringing when I saw the home made exhaust tip bit, thinking it'd be a milo can or something :P

It looks good though, as the others have said - 3

How dark is that tint ? It doesn't look any darker than factory tint!
