I have a NL FBT which is in original condition - everything is still genuine as it left the factory.
I am in two minds as to whether I should tint the windows or not. 1. Tint them as it should help to protect the leather and keep the car cooler, as well as the good looks that tint provides 2. Leave them standerd so that the car is still in original condition, the car rarely goes out anyway (I have only done 4500kms in the last 11 months). If you think I should tint the windows which tint should I get?? I currently have Tint-a-Car - Ash Cool on my wagon, and Tint-a-Car Formula 1 on the g/f pulsar, and find them both to be quite god at keeping the car cool, the F1 seems to be a little darker though (maybe just because the car is smaller and has black interior). |

I don't think anyone will look as tinting as a modification or devalue the car.
Tint is normally on any of my cars within two weeks of buying them - it's essential in this country.

i would tinit because you can remove it without knowing it was there! midnight express is now darkest legal from tint a car!

Thanks for the quick replies, my sister has offered me to get tint on my car for my birthday and I think I will take her up on it.
This is also the first personal car I have had without tint. |

Tinted windows makes the appearance of the car look sooo much better and definatly adds to respectability and class i reckon.

Yeah get the focker tinted up will look 100x's better and be much cooler in summer. I now can no longer cook a pizza in my car since the window tint.
Plus when my car got valued tinted windows add value to the car.

benifits are... looks cool!
 (When a dark shade) keeps the car cooler inside.. protects leather from uv exposure.. also protects from sun burn.. (From experience).. more privacy.. hides valuable items... (if dark like my tint).. does not detract form the value of ur car..

I'm in the process of updating my gallery, as I've replaced my EF with a gleaming Mercury Silver BA XR6 Turbo! My VN Commonwhore-driving brother is taking my EF ...so that's at least another Holden POS off the road! I'll soon be getting a mate (who works in a big tinting shop) to slap me on some DARK tint. He can do Limo tint, 20%, and the darkest legal ...which is 35%. I'm thinking about getting him to slap limo tint on the rear window, and 20% for the rest ...or I might even go limo all round if I decide to risk the cops pulling me over.

It looks as though the decision is unanimous, so the tint is going on.
So the next question is how dark to go, Since I have a cappachino interior, should I go darkest legal (eg. Formula 1 or Midnight Express), or go 20%, I know someone who will do it for me. ??? |

If you don't want the cops pulling you over & slapping you with a yellow sticker, go 35%. All tint shops will do it.

i had the darkest tint possible put on at the place where i got it installed... my interior is also cappachino... no probs there... so yeah... limo! limo! limo! limo! limo! limo! limo! limo! limo! limo! limo! limo! 35% all round!!
