The "Snowflake " mags were released in 1982 with the XE falcon. The ESP versions were the only ones released in gold finish. All others were in various finishes, from plain metalic paint to a combo of polished & painted.
The last falcon to have them is the 1994 ED falcon 'S'.
The proper wheel nuts for them were either a black chrome like finish or chrome finish. The size is 15x7.
That picture of the EL/EF has 'Saphire' wheels on it. They came std with the Saphire pack. I think they were only 15x6.5.

I'm looking at getting some wheels for my EF and was wondering what snowflakes look like. Now that I have read these posts I am more confused.
XR Mags, Dogs Teeth Mags and Snowflakes - Its more complicated than the engine diags.

Do any other wheels )like say Magna wheels fit? Has anybody found a website that details the PCD and offsets etc. for different marques? (do the Asian cars even count as marques?

I'm looking for some 15, 16 or 17 for my old EF if somebody wants to sell some...

Regards all.

when we say snowflakes what are we talking? Snowflakes to me are those gastly looking wheels they put out on the EA 'S' Packs. Usto to have a set. They look crap and are a god damn nightmare to clean by hand (yeah i know use a kacher). My opinoin... best used as a burnout wheel. definatly not a fashionable addition to your car.
