just wondering what people think the Venom XR front bar and the tickford bodykit together would look like... i really love the bar they make for the XR's and dont really like to pay 300ish for just the skirt when for another 500 i can get a more aggresive lookin bar...

personally if i was to get the venom front bar i'd have to have a massive shiny intercooler.

i prefer the look of the venom front bar with the el tickford kit, but either way will look good!
if you already have the skirts and rear bar fitted i wouldnt bother replacing them with venom ones...

they look awesome mate...
venom front and tickford sides is the best combo iv seen the venom sides look weird to me.. if you dont have an intercooler just put mesh in the gap. im goin to put a venom front and rear bar and tickford sides on my el but im keeping the standard front lights.

i have venom front and rear bars on my el. they are the best looking bars for ef/el's. i dont know what my side skirts, but i think they look pretty good

Yeah it will look good, seen a few with the ticky gear.

the intercooler idea has already been decided on as thats one of the reasons im puttin this bar on the car. im gonna turbo it at the end of the year... thanks for ur help i thought it wouldnt look to bad so im orderin the parts soon... havent got any of it yet btw

I am doing the exact same in late may Ticky sides n rear, GT spoiler Venom front.
but i have a Q that molly could probly answer. does the Venom front hang lower than the tick? n do the lines follow through to the tick sides? I tried making some mock shots but i only have crp pics. my other prob is as i'm a struggling uni student and i'm in an xr8, it wont be getting turbo'd. if i moved all the rubbish in front of the radiator somewhere else do you reckon it'd look alright cheers simo

as long as you get a cooler it's ok. otherwise it just looks s**t.

They look alright without a cooler. They get a hell of alot of attention as well. Random people will ask you where you got the bar from. Also, if your car is a decent height (loooow), you'll nickname the bar "mr.plow", worst bar for negotiating even the slightest incline.

Hahaha, as if the Venom bar isn't more rice than my entire import. Big fat mr plow front bar with no cooler, looks stupid. only thing that looks worse in when you put mesh in it. Might as well make a veilside AU. |

Hey soulfire! the only people that ditch on venom bars are the people that can't afford them or are just plain jealous! to answer smo el's question the venom bar does sit lower than the tickford skirting but not from the sides, in the middle of the front the venom sits flat across the front where the tickford skirt curves up in the middle,the line should follow through fine to the skirt. when me and fordfreak sit side by side cars are the same hight but my front sits lower than his! will try and get a pic for ya on saturday and post up!

it looks good with mesh, kinda like pyroays car, he has a massive intercooler but he did'nt show it off, and it looks sweet
