na we dont have canarys and ACT i think i was given 2 weeks to have it all fixed up and passed, took me a bit longer so they suspended my rego untill i fixed it. was only aloud to drive to and from motor registry with a permit or it had to be trailered.

You can go as big as you want with your rims as long as you don't change the rolling diameter of the tyre. It's just that you can only usually only go up 2 inches or 3 at the very most before this happens

Nyoh.

You can alter the width of your rim by 1" either way, increase the rim diameter by 2", decrease by either 1" or 2", and the rolling diameter cannot be 1" more or less than the factory specs.

People driving around with 20s that have next to zero sidewall usually have the same rolling diameter as someone on 15" stockies with factory-spec rubber.
