Hi there guys'n'girls.......
I got some weathershield woes, they seem to laugh at the tape(even heavy duty!) used to adhere them to the doors,so I need help & clips.....I got an EF fairmont, with factory weathershield on both frt doors, they are the type with doublesided tape and 4 clips, both still have the 2 bottom clip, but the top one and the one half way up are missing on both sides, has any one out there got any idea how these 2 clips are shaped? I tried to buy from ford, but they dont sell em seperate, and most spares have after market clips, but none seem to be the right shape, so if ya have a photo, a drawing, even a suggested purchase location, I'd love to have them stay without resorting to superglue or epoxy if possible.......sigh........
please help!!!,
thankz one and all..........perevem

I am using acetate, then prepsol, have also tried straight detergent, metho, but not gp thinners, don't know what it'll do to the paint work and have been advised against it anyway. but beleive me when I say, the surface was clean AND dry afore I even attemped to put the tape on, and it always pulls away from the car, always sticks well to the weathershield itself.....but I am open to all suggestions! so suggest away!
