i was given these side indicatersfrom a mate and he told me that they come of EL/EF but i havnt seen any with them on

Don't believe they were found on any EF's - NF and DF only. And DL and NL, but also the EL's with high serious body moulding (Fairmont Ghia).
XH's have the side indicator further up the body.

real easy fit they just clip straight in but do need to cut 2 of the 4 lugs off bulb holder
