personally i think anything that makes brake lights duller and harder for the guy behind you to see should be illegal!

But isn't that easily fixed with brighter globes?

That nightshades stuff is supposed to be sprayed on the inside of the lense, thats why they go matt finish if you spray it on the outside. How do you get the lense off, i think you would have to cut around where its glued on, then re-glue it.

No mine is still glossy, but it is a thin coat, i'm happy with it, i didn't want to darken them so much as just take a little shine off them.

Great looking rear bumper pyroay. What type of bumper is it, I just have to ask?

It's a vennom rear bar, and looked good with the under wing that runs underneath the tow bar, but someone unscrewed it and stole it.

NOT happy JAN

Outside, start spraying off to one side and sweep accross it and release after you've passed it. You get a ncie even coat.

Only do this a couple of times and then let dry for 2-3 hrs then decide if it's dark enough for you. If not go again with another 2 sweeps and let dry again.

What happens is it sets darker and also slightly matt finish. A couple of light coats takes the shin off and i think looks great. Any more and the matt finish starts to show through and it looks a bit flat and too dark.

Yeah well still thinking about still. I am worried that I might stuff it up and all it will turn out s**t. Here is a pic of my rear taken a couple of years back. Probably would look good with a slight darkening aye :D

You should be fine, i am happy to do it for you if your prepared to drive or post it to Vic.......

Once it's on it's pretty hard to get off, i think you would have to use thinners and i'm not sure how they would re-act with the plastic.

Hey thanks for the offer. But would be a decent Road Trip though. :D
Yeah like you said, "Have to be very cautious", in the Spraying as once I do it there is no Turning back and a new set of taillights would be the only option to fix it if f**k up. :?

I was just wondering how you get the Tailights out our after you take the screws out as they seem to be liked clipped in on the ends ,ie; which way do ya turn them to pop them out. Cuase dont want to break them. Is it like a press stud sort of thing :?: :?: :?: :?:

Just give them a little punch with the palm of your hand, striking from front to back of the car and they will come out.

I dont think you'll break them they are pretty tough.
