Last night i found out that the BA GTP Rims will fit a EL Fairmont Ghia, the wheel off set is the same, and also the BA XR6/8 will Fit my car as well, so i dont know what there is word of , saying pre - Au are differnt,, there all the same its one thing FORD diddnt change of there cars,

So at the moment i have GTP rims on my EL Faimont Ghia, looks unreal, its low on super low king springs and its a eye cather.

get pics....
unless they're copies... then they'll foul on the front end suspension and sit way inside the guards.

there are deffinately changes in offset between EL and AU falcons.

the stud pattern is the same, so the wheels will physically bolt up, but the offset is different, and AU-BA wheels on an AU will look tucked in on a pre-au, and pre AU wheels will look like the car needs flares or a widebody kit on an AU-BA

agree with everyone else, my mate got spinners for his el xr6, and they were the AU/BA offset and they fir the back good, but the front they were hitting the suspension up the top

Well i dont know coz i took My dads BA GTP Rims of his car and it fits my EL FAIRMONT GHIA, fine, no problems, i have the tickford suspension, so that might be a differnce on the clearance at the front, but have no problems, so i dont know, it doesnt have hub addaptors or anything like that just standard tickford suspension.

cheers

did u put the rear wheels on the front of ur car?
i know the AU T-Series had a different offset on the rear to the front, to make them stick out a little more.
this may be enough to allow them to bolt on without hitting anything, but would still be inside the guards too much.

thus illegal as you're giving the car a narrower track.

yeah i think they did the same thing with the gtp gave the rear wheels a lil more offset so they would fill the gaurds better as every1 else has said au off set are completley different to ef, wheels will bolt on the back fine although be tucked in by bout 3 inches or so but on hte front will hit struts and fowl on inner gaurds aswell

Going by the pics in your gallery they're copies. Copies are available in EL offset.
