Hi Everyone,

I want to get the 17' BA XR6 wheels on my EB 1,
I think I need to get the E series offset.....is that right?

Also what places in Melbourne can I get these
from and what would I be looking to pay with tyres and stuff.

well i dunno who makes them in an e-series offset (i'm sure someone must), but if you get a hold of originals, theres s**t for sale secondhand, all you need is a hub adapter (most tire joints have got em)... which may or may not be legal/insurable on victorian roads.
My guess, if you do find a joint (maybe tire factory?) that flogs copies in E-series offset, is that you're *probably* looking at upwards of a grand with tires. but don't quote me on that, cause thats just an educated guess.

Ive found a good place to look is in the Trading Post.
There's usually one or two places that sell them in an E Series offset, so you wont have any worries about the legality of usuing hub adaptors.
As SteadyED siad, it would be around the 1g mark, probably a bit over.

I just put 17" AU XR8 rims on my EB Series 2 wagon! Needed hub adaptors due to different offset.

With tyres - rims were a BARGIN for new ones at just $1,000

Bolt-on hub adapators were $300 for the full set of four.

I got mine from The Tyre Factory in Dandenong. They also did the lowering job and I could not be happier! Looks awesome - reasonable price.

They have a few outlets in Melbourne (not sure about interstate!).

You could also try sending XR8_Dismantler a PM here, or Neo_nick also here. They run auto salvage business and they will look after you, or at least steer you in the right direction!

Hope all this helps!

Cheers - Matt. :D :D :D
