hey all

crazily enough, i'm *thinking* about different rims for my car...

this is whats on it currently:

Image

have had EL GT's on it, but a bit too common for my liking:

Image

but these puppies are what i'm thinking about moving too - yes, 16's i know, boring tickford rims, but i reckon they're hot!

Image

so looking for peoples thoughts/opinions as to what i should be doing! :)

hell, i might have the 17's & the 16's and swap them as & when i please! :P

my vote is with the FTR's. the BA copies are too much like every uleh with VY SS rims, to many people have them.

yeah mate, go with the FTR's - I too reckon they look pretty hot.
Have tried getting some myself as well but pretty slim pickings at the moment.

Tough choice between picking one over the other. I think you should stay with both FTR's and BA XR rims. Might be a bastard to list them with insurance tho if you have one set listed but have an incident while the other set is on.
My personal choice are the BA rims as I am bored with my FTR's at the moment and would like to upgrade my front rotors so I would want 17's on.

I got a set of FTR's yesterday, i love em, quite surprised that they dont actually look that small on the falcon.
Picked them up in the quokka, came with 90% tread, im stoked

Really depends what you want tho, i was looking at the BA XR8s as well, but due to lack of funding i went for the FTR,
Is there any main reason for change? are the cops hassling you?
I reckon stay with the BA XR8s, new wheels on old cars look hot. + less ppl have them on there car than GT's or FTR's
My new toys btw.....

the BA XR's are my choice, as the FTR's are also to common for my likeing... if u want that style, why not get the ANZ FTR's in 17's??? they would look good to i reckon.... :)

The EL XRs really make your car over the other rims, aside from their size. They just top the EL XR front to a T.

Maybe the ANZ copies in 17" could be an idea?? Not my personal favourite, but they're worth a mention.
