to the left hand side of the radiator header tank is 4 relays... One is horn, one is low beam, one is high beam and one is starter...

Do no beam and no high beam? If it is only one then possibly a d**k relay...

On the end of these 4 relays a metal self resetting circuit breaker... These are prone to moisture ingress and corrosion... Can be bought new from an auto store...

Do not go any bigger in the amps rating of this circuit breaker... You will burn out the wiring to the headlights otherwise...

Check power to one pin on the circuit breaker... check power at the other pin... If it stops then here is your break... if there is power on both pins then you need to head further down the electricity stream... Let me know if it isn't the problem... I'll point out what is next...

Cheers,
Tim

Thx for the reply, i saw some fuses next to the radiator bottle. main, eng etc.. is that what you mean? and i found a set of fuses below the lh light and filter box from left to right 4 3 2 1. with the set near the radiator bottle i cant see low or high but there is horn.

No not those fuses...

The box under the passenger head light is the relays for the thermo fans

if you look at the main eng fuse block you mentioned... Follow the mud guard toward the front of the car... Between them and the battery is a black cover held to the mudguard with a tiny little screw... Undo it and take the cover off... Commonly needs the battery bracket undone and it shifted toward the motor slightly (can stay electrically connected)...

Under the cover is 4 relays... Pretty sure from font of car to back are horn, low beam, high beam, starter... They are not labelled in anyway... Attached to last relay is a steel thing about an inch long with two male spade terminals on it and two purple wires... This is the headlight circuit breaker... It is self resetting... Before disconnecting it use a test light or multimeter and see if you have power on both purple wires?

Cheers,
Tim
