I need to replace the outter window felt on an eb Ford spare parts do not stock them but they have ed one's which have a different part number. Are they different ?

doubt it - same sized door was used on EA through to EL

should be able to make it fit!

Yeah thats what I thought same doors :? , the Ford spare parts guy said there must be a difference as they have different part #'s.

I think the EL's have thinner glass in the window so maybe that's why ... dunno for sure..

You're right at some point Ford did change the glass thickness, not sure which model, could very well have been EL. After all they cut back on everthing else on the 'Ls

I asked my local Ford wrecker if there is any differences with the felts and he says the thickness of the glass changed from late in the ED series.
