Hi all, this is my official first post on ford mods.

I recently bought a 2003 BA XR6 falcon from a car dealership in brisbane, i usually wash the car once a week just using armorall car wash and some cheap glass cleaner and interior cleaner (gets the job done) and armorall protectant for the leather trim and seats.

The glass cleaner i use along with a microfibre cloth leaves the windows and windscreen spotless when the weather is sunny, but recently theres been a lot of rain about and im noticing when the rain is heavy there appears to be a large rectangle spot (about 1 metre x 40 cm) smack in the middle of the windscreen that seems to be waterproofed or something. There is also a smaller similar one on the top left of the windscreen where the car's price sticker was. Any tips on how to get rid of this? It's really a small thing but it annoys the crap out of me.

Dont laugh but seriously i use car polish and polish my windscreen when i polish the car. It gets of all the grime and s**t stuck to it. And it also repels water for a while afterwards.

It's ok to use that but, I would use something like Brasso or maybe Autosol. They are damn good cleaners of glass also and don't leave residue.

you can buy specific glass polish too, good for getting calcified water spots off windows especially if the cars been sitting dirty for a while

Claybar pretty much works a treat on glass.
And when cleaned back a good glass polish is best.

I need to get rid of some water droplet marks on my side mirrors at the moment. Just no time at the moment.
