hi there just wanting to know if anyone has put a xg xr6 / xr8 bumper on their xf..
wondering if xf / xg bumpers are the same. i want to just buy indicators off the xr6 to put in mine.. and also any other mods people have done to xf.. i am in the process of building one to show specs and wanting info.. running a 347 stroker el xr8 motor, &auto |

the XG bumpers are the same..... but why do you want to put the indicators in?

if you look on the xg xr8 you will notice it has 2 round lights and a park light ( where the indicator is on xf light) and indicators in front of the bumper
i have got genuine for xr8 lights. and a 85 bumper so it has no indicators on the side of the bumper. [/img] |

get a bumber without indicators (ie no repeaters) and put the indicators off a series3 au into the front guards where the allorhead badge is,, looks much sleeker.. wish id done it with the respray

It has the XR style lights ... with the indicators on the corners. I'll be getting a set of these for my XG "S". It's $595 inc. GST for these ... comes with all globes and mounting brackets, etc. Well worth the money as the standard XF headlights aren't the best really. Also get XH mirrors as well if you want the later model mirrors on the XF shape ... that's another mod I'll be doing as well.
