Can someone please tell me the best way to fit some 6.5" speakers to the front doors of my EA Falcon. I don't want to fibreglass my self, I just want an easy fitting door pod of some kind that will just screw neatly. I have considered VR Commodore Speaker pods/map pockets, but I'm not sure if they will fit properly

Any suggestions wouls be great.

should be fairly easy to figure out mate, just get your measurements etc from your door and see if the commondoor one will fit, i cant see it being much difference, then just screw it in. Do the commonwhore doorpods fit 6.5" speakers or only 6"?

with enough brain power it could be done, but firstly have you checked clearences between the speaker and the window. last thing you want is the window to hit the speaker when you wind it down

I just put 6" splits into my EB....

I had the stock 4" speakers in my car (assuming you have the same)...

To get them out, pull off the door trim and remove the stocky speakers. They will be sitting in a plastic square cup type deal. The cup is pop riveted in, just get a small drill piece and drill out the rivets. Be very careful not to get the door skins when your doing this...

They will fit in the holes that are left behind from the speaker pods, just put them in and make sure that the magnet wont interfere with the window and your laughing...

The 6 inch speakers wont fit in the factory location in EA's. EA's can only fit 4 inch speakers. Tell us how you go with the commonwhore map pockets
