Oi! I havent bought one yet!
I found a heap of EF ones for $50 at a few wreckers, but i want an EL not an EF one. The only difference between the two is that the EF trip computer has the 'black' buttons, whereas the EL on has the 'grey' buttons.

I think the EL one looks more classy anyway. Ill just wait until i spot an EL one at the wrecker.

I might as well ask this question while im on this topic...
While installing the trip computer, is it possible to also install the climate control unit aswell? Or is this an even bigger job/pain in the a**?

Cheers guys.

And seeing that im gonna have the whole instrument cluster assemble out, i might aswell change one of the bulbs, as my petrol bulb has been blown for about 2 months now, lol.. My question is, what type of bulbs are used for the instrument cluster? That way i can do it all at once.

Cheers again.

If you want to pick up climate control as well, see if you can find a complete EL dash and airbox from a fairmont or higher.

Rip the whole lot out and whack it in yours......... an easy conversion, just takes some time!

A good weekend job...........and then you get all the high series lighting and stuff as well!
