When I turn the direction control knob to windscreen demister vents, it keeps blowing through the centre vents. Any ideas? Not sure how long its been happening. I did replace the globe for the odometer, so am wondering if something went haywire when I had the dash loose...

I recently had one of the heater box doors break inside the heater box. It meant every time i selected the windscreen or feet it came out of both those spots.

I'd pull out the glove box and fiddle with the vacuum hoses there trying to get the heater box doors to move, i just used a small piece of hose to connect the vacuum lines i wanted. if the air comes out where it's supposed to come out from, them you may have knocked your vacuum hoses at the back of the climate control unit.

I think there's a doco on what the colours of vacuum hoses need to be connected to make the heater box change the open/closed positions.

cheers,
Jason.

Twice I've had the haters/vents/AC do stupid things and both times it has been a small split in the vacuum line down on the heater valve. May not be related but worth a check
