I have had a bit of a problem for a while now, and i want to get it sorted once and for all.

ever since i first took my dash out, the airbag light has been on. the code flashes "open circuit"

i never was too worried, just assuming i hadn't plugged something in properly. but i have since pulled the dash and put it back in again and it still does the same.

there are two plugs which are disconnected around the bottom of the steering column, but they dont match together. keep in mind i also have a GLi, so it is possible that i dont have something that the higher spec models did.

i'll take a photo of the plugs this arvo.

does anyone have any suggestions as to where i can start looking for the problem?

an airbag that doesnt work is really of no use to me is it!!

cheers,
nic

I have had the exact same problem since i took my dash out. (EF Gli as well) The cluster has been giving me code 32 (open circuit) and i have tried everything to fix it.

I have also noticed those two plugs underneath the steering column. If anyone knows what they are for, i would love to know as well!!!
