Is there any diffrance between EF and EL mirrors on how they fit.

reason i ask is i got a pair of ef/el mirrors not sure what model they are from and i wish to put them on my EB,

i took the drivers side off to see how it woild fit knowing i had to drill a hole, but when i put the ef/el mirror up to see were to drill it didnt seam to line up with the area only one hole seams to lines up.

it didnt even meet up with the wather strip that run along the bottom of the out side of the window.

so is there a diffrenc between ef/el mirrors?, im also thinking is it au but how can you tell

I think they're exactly the same. I replaced a mirror on my Monty and got one off Ebay listed as EF/EL mirror.

The EF/EL mirrors fit no dramas on the Boxcar door as they are the same shell from EA to EL as only the internals changed(not much either) i am going to do this "mod" when i get around to it so at work i got an a Left EA mirror and a Right EL mirror side by side seemed to be the same base (just opisote)

Yep, they sound very much like Fairlane/LTD mirrors. They look almost identical, but the base plate thing is a touch smaller to allow for the chrome surround.

You might possibly have a set of XH mirrors.
