Hey
Wondering if anyone has done the blue dash mod to not only the cluster but the whole dash, including clock, aircon... Must be in an EF aswell... If you have just wondering what colour you made the aircon and how you changed those 2 white globes and what you did with the orange glow from the buttons there? Ta |

yep plenty of people have - i know rod (laximah) has been messing around with his a lot recently. mine used to be blue but swapped with a mate to grab a standard one back!

yeh its just that rod has climate control and not aircon which is the main part that im asking about

Ta I am in the process of doing it to my NC. I recommend you ditch the globes in favour of LED's! as normal globes with blue filters look s**t. Its comes out as a light green colour.

fordzatmyplace I have done my dash and clock so far, just need to do the aircon... getting to those globes is hard and yes I am looking to change them for the same blue LEDS

So you kept the globes? How did it come out? I tried it with higher wattage globes and it came out as a turquoise colour which I didn't like Post some pic’s of it!

we did the aircon today, shoulda taken pics.. i have a sneeking suspicion my masteripiece is going to look fkn awesome tonight!

Nah but seriously. Yes I am, at about Christmas time when I register my 4 banger as this will take me a number of day's i'm afraid! My current plans are to have a NF fairlane airbag-less dash, with NL electrics and switch gear (it's colour coded on NL's). With EL GT steering wheel and s**t. I am only doing this LED conversion so I can get my money back for the NF/NL conversion on ebay!  LOL!!

pretty much in your aircon, there are two globes
all i did was solder in two led's (one facing down and the other facing right) to the wires from the other globes. I then lined the endges of the aircon with alum foil, to spread the light out evenly.. looks like it'll work a treat!
