hey all got an AU2 ute wanting to change the colour of the carpet that covers the rear of the cab its grey at the moment want to die it black what should i use cheers

Have a look on ebay as ive seen a few joints selling pre moulded carpets to suit alot of models with a range of colours

why don't you just buy new carpet from a wrecked XLS/XR ute?

water based tyre black, thin it down lots(with water) so it soaks in to the carpet and spray it on with a spay gun. Dont over do it just so it turns black.... old car detailer trick from when all boot carpets where black and usually black and looked crap.... worked well

Ring Tru-Fit Carpets. They have a set of moulded carpets to suit the AU Ute. It's about $135 and you can have any colour you want.
