hey guys i was told i could put the au dash into an eb ?

is this true ? if so is it hard to do ? do the cluster connections need to be changed about and stuff ?


has anyone done this ?

you could if you have the time and the money, but you will find the EF/EL dash will fit same with the seats and the door trims.

A Very very big job to make a AU dash fit. EF/EL bolt in easy.

have seen a couple of box cars done with the EF/EL dash... and door trims... that bolt straight in... looks great!! 8-)

Oh ok, Well I Think I might actually give it ago putting the AU one in my EB.

What type of problems do you thiink I'll come across ??

(I have a AU Wrek to strip down)

if you have an AU Wreck then go for it but is this EB your drivecar cause i can see it sittin stil for a week....

the dash isn’t the same shape as the one in the EB, that is the biggest problem.

The AU dash has a bigger curve than the eb.

Biggest problems you WILL find is,

Length and curvature of AU dash,
Mounting points.
Plug connections (different style of plug and wire locations within the plugs).

Just to name a couple.

The reason I know the above, is I have AU wiring Eng and dash wiring in my EB going into a EL dash.

I'm pretty sure the seats don't just bolt in.

the bacvk seat will, but you need to weld the rear feet of you're eb runners on the back of the ef/el and wel 2 small plates at the front and drill dols in plate to bolt them in.

yo just do it and if it look good than keep it cause yer there has been some XE-XF whit BA interior so yer if you like the AU that go 4 it i would love 2 C it done So put pic's up ok and good luck
