All the backlights for my electric windows have died except for one, so this got me thinking about changing the colours to maybe red while i've got them out
i was wanting to know what size bulbs they are or if anyone else has performed the mods they could let me know how they did it and maybe even show me a pic of two of the end result |

would help but i am 99.99% sure my AU III Fortes aren't back lit. its only got front power windows with painted arrows on them, so what models are back lit?

My XR6 for a start, maybe yours are back-lit they just died before you took ownership of the car??? When you turn the headlights on they should be lit so you can see the arrows at night-time.

ok so have pulled my drivers side buttons out and they dont have any lights in them... must be a S2 or XR thing... yours 2 or 4 pwr windows... iv got 6 wires to each switch...
if you check out the E-Series blue dash conversion Threads could be some good ideas to adapt to this...? just use a multimeter to check the light supply voltage and go from there...

its only for the ones with 4 power windows.
best way for you to find out is pull it apart. its not that hard to do. i did it aggeeessss ago and have them lying round in the shed somewhere but i have no idea where
