hey guys i am looking at installing a AU or EB somthing along thoese lines Console into my XF, for the reason of i just want cup holders. Can this be done? what mods would i need to do, any tips and stuff you could give me would be awesome.

EA-ED consoles go straight into XF's..... dunno if they have cupholders though

i cant think of anythinga Ford CD wallet and 3 CD cases combine to make an excellent holder in the console bucket for a extra large McDonalds coke cup lol

anything will fit given enough time, effort and money..... wether it looks right or not is another thing

If it fits in an XH manual it will probobly fit in an XF manual.....auto im not sure about though. Au will look good imo

when i had my xd there was a big space in front of the armrest/lid, i "modified" a maccas cup holder to fit in there and it did the job perfectly, from memory the xd and xf consoles arnt much different, except the ashtray was at the front of the xd and just in front of the arm rest/lid on the xf, maybe you could fit an xd unit and mod the hole properly to be a cup holder and look factory.
