When I lift open tailgate of the AU111 wagon - light comes on then blows fuse.
Have disconnected lamp assembly - but still same occurrence.
It may be tailgate switch is faulty - interior lights work ok until lift open tailgate.

My Qn is - where do I find the switch mechanism that turns on courtesy lamp in tailgate?

Richie

Have now disconnected everything in tailgate - & guess what - still blows fuse.
Disconnected relevant tailgate loom on both sides of rear side panels - & fuse ok.
but when I connect either side - the fuse blows.
Will BEM purposely blow courtesy light fuse if something amiss?

Richie
