I've done the call around some trimmers because i will soon be wearing the roof lining in my barge as a hat, i usually ask if they re-stick it with the answer normally being no, as this problem stems from the foam it is attached to being too brittle to hold new glue... fair enough...
The average quote for this job is $250 Does anyone know anyone that can better this quote????? Please don't reply if you're in Perth... even running on LPG it would be an expensive exercise. Thanx fellow modders

Cool, I will be needing a roof lining soon myself.
$250 seems to be not bad for a redone lining. You could go to Pick N Payless at Blacktown and look for a 2nd hand one. Last one I got from there was $40. Cheers BenJ

Thats a good price. The best I could find was $250 and that was over 2 yrs ago. Most were asking 270-280

there is a motor trimmer on abbot rd just before the train station on the primary school side. best blokes i know. charge 60 an hour, prob only take 1-2 hours. BARGAIN. they did my dash, top notch work. dont know their number, but they are great, been around for 20 years

if you take the trim out your self then it shouldnt cost more than $100. the guy on peach tree mentioned earlier charged me $80 to re trim only. i took it out and put it in... this was about 5 years ago though.

Ive used him twice and he does great work and he done 2 hood linings for my EF/EL's for $250.00 if i remember correctly. He comes out and takes it out and takes it home 2 retrim and come back and fit it. He used to do show cars and getting back into show work.

Ah yeah! oops.. sorry about the delay in my report but yes, Jim and Brendan did the work in about 2.5 hours and it came up better than new, plus he matched the original perfectly. Very Happy.
The best part is that he charged me 180 bucks to do it. I highly recommend these boys

Excellent thread guys. What's the big deal about having a sunroof ffs..???? Gonna give mickyyyy's contact a buzz after i get my electric sunroof in.

well apparently these dudes had many complaints that suddenly the roof leaked after the trim work was done.. so they decided to give that a miss
