Hi there, i was wondering if a BA/BF 4 speed automatic shifter handle would fit and ED 4 speed automatic shifter rod ( as in are the threads the same? )

haha, no, let alone same mechanism, seems it just about easier to do the tiptronic conversion from what i can see.

sorry to but in, but can you do that to the e seris transmission, or replace the whole thing. Sorry for butting in :oops:

yep you can. theres a member or 2 on here that has successfully fitted BA/BF SSS to an E series auto.
