Hay every1 got my self a brand new teritory bleeper from ford today and wondering if it will work on the EB

i had a look at getting one to work on my AU but long story short the answer was no... they use different codes and have different internals...

not unless you modify the eb smartlock remote guts to fit inside the smartshield remote.

if you have smart lock it would flash a red light every few seconds on your cluster.

being eb2 im guessing it would (might be wrong). i dont have a remote that works and i got smartlock. smartlock is eb2-au1 and smartshield is from au2-bf (maybe fg but correct me if any of this is incorrect)

(benj will know) unfortunetly with modern cars swapping or adding one part doesnt work... id say the smartshield? in BAs is integrated through everything from the cluster and icc to the bem and ecu... your better of spending $150 on a aftermarket system.... if you dont have smart lock then you have even more less chance to get that remote to work. I have an EB 2 and it has smart lock.

Who ever bought dis 17 yers ago must be pov as because the optinal extras wornt included, power windows, woodgrain, lsd, inside lock button, but it's still got trip comp and digital dash
 .
