Hi does anyone know if there is a supplement to the workshop manual for the cruise control as I need to work out what wiring is used for switching the cruise control on and also what value the resistance of the switches are, All I could find in the discs I have are values for the sound system. Thanks to anyone who can help. Cheers MD

Do you already have cruise or have you just fitted it. If you have just fitted it you must take the car to ford to activate it.

No its got cruise, What I want to do is try to set up an auto on with a relay giving a single pulse about 20 seconds after start up and turning the cruise to ready mode every time I drive the car. Cheers MD

the cruise switchs are about 4.2k ohms when nothing is being pressed and 1 ohms when the on/off switch is pressed (basicly just connected together, may have slight resistance so computer can tell the difference between a wire shorting to ground and a button press)

Hi Thanks Sorted, its in the manual under "speed control", trust ford to use one name in the manual then put cruise on the button itself. Cheers md
