www.modyourcar.com.au - good prices. Thats where I got mine from. Before you ask, get a mechanical one, not electric.

What are you on about? are you thinking about hydraulic pressure or something like that? or running the boost so high that the air compresses to liquid?

Ive heard a lot of complaints about the electric ones not being very accurate, but I guess as long as you dont go an ebay special you should get something reliable.

theres no liquid in the mechanical gauges - they work on the air pressure moving the gauge mechanically.

LOL, sorry i forgot we were talking about vacum/boost gauges, definately go mechanical there! But for any fluid ones, i.e. oil pressure, etc, I would highly recomend electric.

nah i got the pro comp series (liked the look of it better than the cobalts) boost gauge for $130 IIRC.

Actually thinking about it twr7cx, he more than likely bought a dual pod, so boost and oil pressure, in which case you are right about fluids I think. Apologies.

What if the smoke gets out of the wires, then you wont be able to breath or see, might crash of have a eectrical fire cause the wires chaffed and you didny use a fuse. that would be worse then spilling some oil down the inside of your dash.
