It does look good. esp the XF with the BA dash and console. An old mate has put full interior and mechanicals from a VN into a HQ ute.

The EA with the BA interior never got the whole lot working.
it was basically just the dash shell with all the standard electronics. need to do it like the wagon, get everything and slap it in. all looms, enigne, dash etc.

I was thinking it would be cool to do something like that using an FG dash, you already have the hole for the LCD screen at the top, great for reverse camera screen or accident causing pron movies. Do you know if he got all the ducts working and finish the rear door trims?

Looks like it came out of factory like that LOL, good on them whoever done it and would like to know what were the obsticals of the whole job.

i was thinkin of doin the centre console into mine but sein as the whole lot can be done might be an idea but reckon u could somehow get all the electronics to work well atleast the 1's u need like dash an wat not hmm definately different and bunter that x wagon is" HOT AS" seein done the motor an all thats true devotion:P anyways im outs Drifty

Does any1 know if the BA dash is physically wider tha the EF, requiring it to be cut down to fit?

Not wider just deeper and most of the vent piping in the dash has to be replaced.

if i can recall that XE/XD with the 290 only took the owner 12months to complete it... it was regoed and blue slipped like days prior to the AFD in 07
