well, ive seen an escort panelvan with a bas xr8 front end on it, and also an escort panelvan with ba xr8 seats in it.. so im thinkign if a ba XR or fairmont interior would, with some heavy modification, fiot inot my escort?

things like seats, dials, centre console bit (like that litte compartment between the seats) and things like door handles and arm rests and stuff like that?

just an idea id like top play with, so before i do i thought id just ask if anyone knows anything about it or if i should even bother doing it at all?

cheers,
shaggy \m/

I have no idea, but anything will fit with the right amount of money!

If you're talking about getting the dash working and everything, you're talking about a monstrous amount of work with heaps of bucks required!

start with the front seats.

The rest would take a lot of custom work and dent your budget quite nicely.

i woudlnt bother with the door trims, because with out the dash it will look out of place, and to install the dash, will send you broke! go the xr seats, then get the rest retrimed to match, someone did it in an xf, and it looks rather nice!

My thoughts Glenn, and by the way, to get this to run the guages, you would have to step to an ECU that is compatible with the cluster, and IIRC the only one that is at the moment is a MoTeC

I'll look him up in 6 months and see if the ba interior is in the escort yet. And i'll see if you've got your BF MKII Ghia V8 yet too :P

If you own an Escort, you would know that a BA seat would an extremely extremely tight fit, and be almost impossible.
I have a mate with a shmick RS2000, who has the Escort seats retrimmed in the BA XR cloth trim. Looks neat as, but there's no room in the little esky's to fit much off a Falcon.
It would be a custom job for basically all of it.
