Anyone know if a BA shifter (as in just the metal rod itself) is a direct replacement of the EL one? Am looking at a shortened one on ebay.

Thanks man, by direct replacement i mean will it bolt straight on by the way, i realise the shaft itself isn't the same. All that needs to be the same for it to fit is the base of it where the two bolts run through.
