Does anyone know if the switches on the right hand side of an BA Turbo XR dash (turbo timer etc) can be changed to the BA XT switches (dimmer etc)?

On the right hand side, apparantly the two switches are different on an XT than on a Turbo Dash. I am only going on someones word that they are different, but I thought they are the same.

If they are different, can they be changed?

If they are the same, looks like I am buying an XR dash!

The two buttons on a XR with premium sound etc. are for dimming and brightening the cluster, unlike the low spec dashes which have the dimmer and the trip computer button.

I don't know if they are able to be changed though.

The two buttons are for XR6/XR6T/XR8 fitted with the luxury interior package. A normal XR cluster will fit and function fine.
You'll need to take it to ford to get them to put your kilometres on with their PDS computer though.
