Actually looking at a BF wagon now.
I've heard the early BAs had problems with the coolant and gearbox oil seals in the radiator. BF seems the way to go. |

Well I got a BF XT wagon today.
93,000ks on it. Good condition. Ex Water Corp car. Very happy with it. Will post pics when I pick it up. Purchased from Lynford in Osbourne Park from Robbie Atkin. Great guy to deal with. No nonsense salesman. Pleasure to deal with. Recommend them. |

Yes, they did...all you need is an external transmission cooler fitted, problem solved. I'd get a cooler fitted to the BF as well, even though they reckon they've fixed the radiators in the BF's...trust nobody when it comes to big repairs like transmissions. It'll help prolong the life of your gearbox as well...win-win situation. Congrats with your purchase, hope you're as happy as I am with mine, they're a great car. |

I'm not aware of one being fitted externally (out of the radiator loop), unless they have one in series like the Territory has at the side of the engine (still in radiator cooling lines). If it was me, I'd be bypassing the radiator anyway, regardless of what model I had. |

s**t I'll have to get the kit then. i wouldnt worry about it if i were u. its a BF so you should have a fairly easy run.. the best mod we have done to my mates xt ever. is putting an XR6 steering wheel on it and XR6 suspension and BA XR6 alloys. makes it a very nice to car to drive.. looking foward to pics |

good buying hey BFs have more power too 190kw...falcon wagons are great hey ive got a AU3 SR WGN has never missed a beat im gonna upgrade to a BFII some time next yr there starting to get cheap....
