Thought I'd check before I go out looking for one tomorrow does the BA Wagon have the capacity to have 3 baby seat attachment points?

There is in the Falcon sedan but not sure about the wagon.

Cool thanks.

Have you modded the BA wagon?

I'll be modding mine very slowly. I can't have as stock family car.

Wifeys XR6 is already gone. It went yesterday.
I'm looking at BA MKII.

Whats the difference between BA and BA MKII. I've looked everywhere and can't find the differences.

Nothing really, BAII got auto headlights and different hubcaps on the XT, I think the interior cloth trim is a little bit different too. Nothing big.

Auto headlights? Is that they come on in the dark by themselves?

So mechanically the suspension and body panels front end etc is identical?

That opens my options to a BA MKI hopefully get it a bit cheaper.

Hey Timmeh, I've got an '04 BA XT wagon in Mercury Silver that I bought in February this year. It's a great car with bags of room and as has been said before ^^^ there's 3 anchor points for baby capsules/seats.
As far as mods are concerned, I've done analogue clock, Fairlane instrument cluster surround (black with silver circles), BA XR8 alloy pedals, painted dash spears XR silver, footwell lights, auto down drivers power window switch (rears are manual), BA XR8 front seats (Plexis Grey) and I'm working on recovering rear seat, bolsters and fitting the door trim inserts to match, F6 dual entry airbox and K & N panel filter, BF XR front bar, BF XR 18" alloys with Dunlop SP 3000a 245/40 18 tyres and BA Fairlane side mouldings that fit on the short dogleg section behind the rear doors (the ones that Ford forgot about on the wagons).
That's about it for the moment...there's not much between the BA1 & 2 either (auto headlights, Mk 2 badge etc.). Also plenty of them out there so you should pick something up for a good price...cheers Linz.

I can lower it for $800. Springs front and extra leaf in rear plus resetting.

I can get a mint set of genuine FPV 18" Typhoon rims with new tyres for $1900.

Good prices?

Don't know about the lowering, as I won't be doing mine due to steep driveways etc. but I paid $1650 including GST for brand new genuine BF XR 18's and new Dunlop 245/40 18 SP 3000a's at my Ford spare parts department.....the local Beaurepaires store wanted $440 each just for the tyres so I'm real happy with my purchase. Did you end up getting a wagon today?

Had a look at about 8-10 wagons today. Some in a condition which wasn't bad but I have higher standards. The ones that were in a condition I would buy were a little high on price.

1 I looked at I could get for $10k thats what the dealer said but maybe I could get it a little less. It had a couple of dings in the roof and one on the tail gate.

The ones that were in a condition I would consider I didn't haggle on price but they were $14990 but I could get it for maybe $12000?

Looking at getting a white one not a silver one. Colour doesn't really matter but rims are easier to pick for white cars.

I'll find the online links to the cars I'm considering. Hopefully get one this week. Only two more car yards to look at.
