True

europe is metric but UK isn,t yet we still show distances in miles and speed markings in MPH so it would b easy if everything could be changed to match .

The markings on speedo as mentioned could be changed with new face but just wondered if there we re options to change electronic readouts of trip computer and fuel to imperial .

Most UK cars have both imperial and metric to comply with our laws and european laws

thanks

that would be pretty expensive!

i dont think there would be an easy way to do it?

perhaps just change the face plates and leave a calculator in the car with the conversion tables? ;)

would be awesome if you imported one, definatly turn some heads!

Well, since it's a worldwide control module, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a setting in the BEM/PCM to convert between KMH and MPH, I just have no idea with the PID would be.

Like Kermey says, for $100 to $120, you might be able to get a Ford engineer to plugin a WDS tool and change that value for you.

But i'd say the face you'd have to do yourself.

I doubt the electronics could be done easily.. there's no reason for an Australian car sold only here to display stuff using the imperial system.

Good luck with importing the car though, a 5.4L BA XR8 would be awesome in the UK considering how well the (inferior) Monaro did over there!
