Got my steering wheel from Ebay.
Some guys girlfriend got p****d off with him and I managed to get my MOMO blue wheel for $260 - now they go for around $500 without any controls or airbag, $1000 from Ford.
As for the dash - $90 from Ford? - to reprogram a XR dash but not supply as you will need to get the traction control light disabled for a BA XT.
Again, check Ebay as I got mine for $150. Be careful as there are two types - high and low - being a BA XT I would say you need a low series cluster.

what is this tool you speak of glenn? It isn't yourself is it  (joke)

I just used a T50 (i think its called) torx bit to undo the bolt and then had one of the hardest tugs in my life! :o

Yeah AU's have a special 5 pointed torx bit with a hole in it to remove the airbags. When we changed the steering wheel over on mitch andersons EF i don't think it had them but i do remember bending the f**k out of his old wheel to get it off lol..

yes...u owe me a new fairmont steeringwheel :P:P
